The Clarifying Toner is formulated with Glycolic and Salicylic Acids and designed for acne-prone skin types to exfoliate and decongest clogged pores for a clear, clean complexion. Clarifying treatment toner works as a final cleansing step that is vital to remove all traces of dirt, oil, dead skin cells, and cleanser residue that can contribute to those unwanted skin conditions.
The short-term result of the Clarifying treatment toner is to cleanse and balance the skin’s pH preparing the skin for the recommended Dermed corrective treatment serum. Long-term use provides the skin with ingredients that target excess oil and clogged pores for a deep pore cleanse.
Directions:
For best results, use twice daily, morning and evening. Follow with the recommended DERMed Serum.
Ingredients/ Clinical Actives:
Glycolic Acid – an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from fermented rhubarb used to reduce corneocyte cohesion (a thickening of the skin where excess dead skin cells build up), for exfoliated, smooth skin.
Salicylic Acid – a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) derived from willow tree bark used to help clear and clean skin. Topical salicylic acid is also a keratolytic agent used to treat skin conditions and is a gentle alternative to benzoyl peroxide.
Lactic Acid – derived from sour milk, yogurt or beer used for its potent acidic properties to gently exfoliate and clarify the skin without dehydration.
